The Armed Services YMCA San Diego is one of the charity partners for the KAABOO music and entertainment festival, and we provide Guest Services Volunteers to support the event.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Guest Services Volunteers provide overall superior guest service support and guidance to guests. Must be able to answer questions, provide directions, and other general guest services support to KAABOO guests as they are arriving or leaving. This is the first and last impression of KAABOO and essential that all guests are receiving superior treatment. Training will be provided as well as a Guest Services Lead will be available for additional support. Volunteers may support different areas of the venue, ranging from Gates and Parking Lots, the booths located at each state and the center of the venue, as well as Silent Disco.

KAABOO prides itself on treating all guests as they were a guest in our own home. Our guest services support distinctly sets us above expectations and you are expected to do the same.

QUALIFICATIONS

Love working with people, patient and a consistent positive attitude! Ability to answer questions, provide excellent detailed directions and provide a superior level of customer service. Training and support will be provided to help you give the highest level of customer service possible. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Closed toes shoes are required.

Volunteers MUST sign up for and attend one of the three training sessions scheduled at 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 10 September, Wednesday, 11 September, or Thursday, 12 September.

We have about 40 open spots left for volunteers at the KAABOO music and entertainment festival 13-15 September.
