Join San Diego Futures Foundation for STEMFEST 2018, Monday, August 13, 2018, at the North Inland Live Well Center in Escondido. Designed to empower the community by strengthening cross-sector collaborations, this six-hour event introduces students to a wide spectrum of industries and occupations by providing a pathway for students and STEM professionals alike, to link educational practices to career opportunities.

We are pleased to announce that Supervisor Kristin Gaspar has agreed to participate as the keynote speaker. She will address the future of possibilities, as it relates to technology and STEM-related fields. It would be SDFF’s honor to have all youth, parents, teachers and STEM professionals to attend this free educational event and become inspired by the future jobs of today and tomorrow.

STEM knowledge is vital in our technology-based society because it boosts innovation, creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and helps bridge the gender gap. Therefore, SDFF has expanded its reach of collective efforts to include top industry leaders, a diverse array of exhibitors with interactive demonstrations, and dynamic speakers to capture the importance of STEM literacy in San Diego County.

All Pre-K to Collegiate Students, parents and teachers are welcome!
