The Childcare Assistant engages children in fun/indoor activities while their caregivers attend support groupd and seminars.
Key Responsibilities: keep all children in sight at all times, Plan and engage children in play activities. Provide gentle and nurturing presence. Work as a team by maintaining good relationship with other childcare. Assist with tidying up /putting away childcare equipment at the end of each session.
Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills. Good listening skills. Knowledge of working with children under 12.
Requirements and Training: Background and TB clearance test record. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. First Aid and CPR certification
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
Minimum Age: 21
