At the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s(r), we’re fighting for a different future. We’re closer than ever to stopping Alzheimer’s but to get there, we need you. Join us for the world’s largest fundraiser to fight the disease by volunteering for the Walk to End Alzheimer's- Asheville Planning Committee.
The Walk Planning Committee members are the heart of the Walk with roles for everyone!
By joining the Walk Planning Committee, you will use your interests and skills to advance the cause by recruiting sponsors and teams, raising awareness of the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association(r), and more! You'll help motivate, appreciate and engage our participants year-round with phone calls and hand-written notes and create a moving Walk day experience.

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. In North Carolina, more than 180,000 are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and over 369,000 family and friends are providing care.
Serving 100 counties in North Carolina, the Alzheimer’s Association - North Carolina is here to help. We provide education and support to all those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout our community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals and families. We are also committed to advocating for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s disease and advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
