ORGANIZATION: Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research

Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Researc

As we're gearing up for our events at the Hirshberg Foundation, we’re thrilled to engage dedicated volunteers like YOU help us make this a memorable year for all of our supporters. As the Hirshberg Foundation’s programs expand, so does the opportunity for our supporters to get more involved.

This year we are looking for a group of motivated volunteers to join our raffle committee & in-kind gifts committee. By joining the committee you will assist us with contacting local businesses via email, phone or in-person for in-kind gifts and raffle items, responsible for arranging donation pick-up, keeping donation inventory up to date and creating appealing gift baskets for the day-of the event.

Your involvement is critical and your voice has the power to inspire others in the fight against pancreatic cancer- that is how you create awareness and make a difference. This is your call to action!

If you're interested in joining the committee, please contact Nathaly at Volunteer@pancreatic.org

Founded in 1997, the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing pancreatic cancer research, and providing information, resources and support to pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

Description

The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is focused on finding a cure for pancreatic cancer, and empowering the patients and families whose lives are touched by this disease. The foundation funds groundbreaking scientific research, provides patient education and support, and sustains hope that this cancer will be eradicated once and for all.

Our Mission:

  • Find a cure for pancreatic cancer, in honor of Ron Hirshberg and the thousands of people who are diagnosed with this disease each year.
  • Create a premier pancreatic cancer center where the most advanced treatment options and comprehensive support services are available, all in one place.

  • Earn recognition as the leading resource for information about pancreatic cancer, and support for patients and their families.

  • Fund new projects and programs designed to improve patient care, treatment and, ultimately, pancreatic cancer survival rates.
