Cleaning Help Wanted for Older Couple Affected by ALS

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association: MN/ND/SD

  • 5 people are interested

A 72 year old woman living with ALS and her husband are looking for a volunteer to clean their two bedroom, two bath apartment. The husband loves sweeping and vacuuming so he’ll continue to do those and the volunteer will take over the tasks the wife is no longer able to do because of her ALS.

They think it will take a volunteer 1-2 hours every week to clean. They are open to help any day of the week. Because of the husband’s work schedule, it will not work for a volunteer to help in the evening; he goes to bed at 6:30 pm.
