Lunch Mentoring - A Lunch Mentor will spend 1 lunch period a week with a student - lunches usually somewhere between 11-12:30. We would look for a school that is close to your work place or home. Elementary Schools you would stay on campus - Middle and High School you would have the option to stay on campus or to leave the campus for lunch. It is between you and the student on what activity you would like to do together. You could play games , work on school work or just be a friend that the student can talk to about what's happening in their lives. This is a time to forget about your worries of the day and be a friend to a child.
High School Lunch Mentoring - same as above - freshman to senior in high school can apply to be a Lunch Mentor going to a school close to your school.

Description
Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha is a 501(c)(3) youth serving organization. Founded in 1973 by the YWCA, Big Sisters of Neenah-Menasha emerged because mentoring opportunities did not exist for girls. It was not until the early 80's that our organization began to serve boys. In August of 1984, after much consideration, we changed our name to Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha and opened up our program to both boys and girls!
As a partner agency of United Way Fox Cities and with strong support from the community we are here today, proudly serving the children and families of the Neenah-Menasha area.
