General Description
The Dakota County Fair is August 6-12. Dakota County is looking for volunteers to educate about recycling and organics collection at waste stations during the fair. No experience necessary!
By volunteering, you will receive free admission to the fair for that day and a t-shirt (updated look this year!) Complete instructions will be sent to volunteers before the fair begins.

Various Shifts throughout the day through August 6-12
Duties & Responsibilities
There will be multiple waste stations (bins for recycling, organics and trash) around the fair for attendees. Volunteers will show attendees how to dispose of their recyclables and organics in the correct bin.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 16 years old or older to volunteer without an adult
- Must be able to work the full shift (shifts range from 2.5 - 3 hours each)
- Must be able to get to the fairgrounds
Minimum Time Commitment
2.5 hours
Activity Level
Medium - May involve varying amounts of activity (long walks, rough terrain, and moderate physical exertion. May not be recommended for volunteers with physical limitations. Comfortable, sturdy shoes recommended.

None, all training and materials will be provided
