In Oregon and Southwest Washington, Red Cross Volunteers responds to two home fires per day. The Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers will be dispatched to connect with the household, identifying their needs and connecting them with immediate resources available from the Red Cross. DAT Team members play a crucial role in helping victims of disaster on their road to recovery.
Requirements
- Volunteers must have access to a vehicle and a valid license
- Attend Disaster Action Team Workshop
- Minimum commitment of 4 on-call shifts per month
