Wild Beasts Wild Wine is Detroit Zoo's annual Wine tasting event on the beautiful grounds of the Detroit Zoo. Ticketed guests enjoy sampling wine while strolling the grounds of the Zoo after hours. Proceeds from the event assist in the Detroit Zoological Society's mission of celebrating and saving wildlife.
Volunteers are needed to pour wine for guests. Volunteers open bottles and pour 2 oz. tastes. Volunteers work in pairs at tables under tents throughout the Zoo. Each Volunteer will received one complimentary zoo ticket to use at a later date.
Experienced volunteers will be paired with inexperienced volunteers.
Volunteers must provide proof of ID and must be at least 21 years old.
All Volunteers must sign a waiver of liability.
Volunteers may not sample the wine

Description
The Detroit Zoological Society is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that operates the Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle Nature Zoo. Situated on 125 acres of naturalistic exhibits, the Detroit Zoo is located at the intersection of 10 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue, just off I-696, in Royal Oak, Michigan.
