Telephone Reassurance in MADISON: Help seniors and people with disabilities

This program assists with a person's ability to age in place, and live alone and independently. Volunteers make calls to seniors and persons with disabilities every day of the week, 365 days a year.
Volunteers call clients on a schedule - predetermined by the client - to provide a wellness check, chat and remind the client to take medications.
What qualifications and skills are required? You must simply have a desire to help others and be at least 55 years of age!

The Skylands RSVP Volunteer Resource Center offers volunteer management expertise to Affiliated Partner Agencies while also coordinating a number of community programs. Our staff has combined for over 50 years of non-profit and volunteer experience.
