A 66 year old woman living with ALS and her husband are looking for someone to help them. They need help cleaning - dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and washing dishes - and with laundry. They would like someone who can help on a weekday, ideally in the afternoon but they are open to receiving help in the evening. This couple has one cat and they do smoke inside their home. If you’re interested and have two to three hours to share every month, we want to hear from you.

What is ALS?

ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.

How does The ALS Association help?

We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
