Did you know that only 35% of people over the age of 75 participate in some sort of physical wellness activity? At Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington, we try to help our residents achieve wellness in all areas of their lives. Exercise is offered in all areas of our building and we offer a wellness center that residents can utilize as well.
The problem? Some of our residents need help getting to the wellness center or need to be accompanied there...
Could you be a exercise buddy?
Requirements:
- Availability Thursdays from 1-2 pm OR any weekday except Wednesdays from 12-1 pm
- Desire to help older adults have access to regular workout routines
- Ability to make a weekly committment
