A Brighter Day Farm
Volunteers for Therapeutic Horse Riding must be at least 16 years old.
You will be paired with a child with Down syndrome (age 3 - 5) during their horse riding lesson. You will also help the kids learn jobs on the farm. No prior horse riding experience is necessary. The class is taught by professionals; you'll be there to provide support, guidance and encouragement. Volunteers need to be prompt, reliable and able to commit to all five Saturdays. There will also be a training for volunteers on Friday, July 27 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM.

Our volunteers are an important part of the DSAGC. Opportunities include special events, administrative help, as well as involvement on committees and supporting other parents.
