YOU Can Help Pets In Need...
VOLUNTEER!!!
Have and hour or so a week?
How about just once a month?
That’s all it takes to make a regular difference in the lives of our AARF shelter pets, as they wait for their forever homes!!!
Animal Care Volunteers are needed to care for our shelter pets through feeding, cleaning, playtime, and social stimulation. AM & PM scheduling options are available, 7 days a week.
We also need event and community outreach volunteers on a flexible basis, to help raise awareness of our service programs to assist local residents and their pets.
If you love animals and want to make a difference in their lives, and in the lives of the people that love them, this volunteer opportunity is for you! Pitch in, help out, and create a personal legacy!
Our next New Volunteer Orientations are scheduled for Wednesday 8/8 at 6:30pm and Saturday 8/25 at 11am (on site at 6570 James B Rivers Drive, Stone Mountain, GA 30083). If you need to schedule an orientation outside of these options, please reply to contact us about making arrangements.

Mission Statement
Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends is a small group of concerned animal lovers dedicated to rescuing abandoned and abused animals. We work with local veterinary clinics to provide veterinary care to the animals before placing them in temporary foster homes, and eventually, loving permanent homes. Please check often, and contact us if you are looking for a particular pet. Thousands of animals in the Atlanta area are in need of homes.
