Volunteers needed
Ecoworks is moving to North Haven and we need help packing up our supplies. As you may know our store is filled with many thousands of treasures. We want to take much of what we presently have with us so we will need all hands on deck. We also have a truck we are using to haul our materials to the new store. We have a number of shifts to make the move. We will be packing from July 12 to July 31 . Our moving van shifts will be making runs from July 15- 31. Unpacking will be July 20 to August 15.
You may sign up for as many shifts as you wish. Please remember to pace yourself.
Tasks include:
Packing boxes
Carrying boxes to/off the truck
Loading/unloading truck
Unpacking boxes

Description
Creative Reuse Center; we sell low-cost art supplies to support teachers, artists and other creative people. Materials are industrial scrap and business surplus in addition to donations from individuals. 2. reBoutique gift shop; consign with Connecticut based artists who use reclaimed materials in their work. 3. reCraft; we provide workshops and classes as well as a DIY maker-space Crafteria). We also offer workshops on how to use the scrap and environmental classes. We also house a reBoutique gift shop that showcases upcycled and repurposed goods made by CT artisans.
News Flash: We have moved to 89 State Street, North Haven. Just want to let you know that there are no buses that run to out new store. We''ve packed everything up at the store and most of our materials are now in the new store. Our challenge is going to be unpacking and setting up our new store. We're not quite ready for new volunteers at this time. However, by mid August we will be thrilled to have lots more hands! If you're interested you can still send us an email.
