ECHO is a boutique that sells gently used women's clothing to help provide financial support to programs of Women's Resources of Monroe County. Women's Resources is a crisis agency that provides services for people effected by domestic and sexual violence. The ECHO boutique is run entirely by volunteers and fills needs for our agency by funding through sales, access of clothing for our clients and outreach by our Echo volunteers to the community. ECHO Volunteer duties include: customer service, sorting donations, preparing clothes for display, cleaning and straightening the boutique and maintaining a welcoming environment. The shifts are Monday through Saturday 10 am to 1pm or 1 pm- 4:30 pm. Volunteers sign up for shifts based on their availability.
The mission of Women's Resources is to end domestic and sexual violence for women, children and men in our community.
We provide services for victims, survivors, and significant others of domestic and sexual violence. Our service include, a 24 hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, individual and group counseling, children's, legal, and medical advocacy, and educational programs.
