We have an immediate need for a talented graphic designer to help us create informational posters for an evening event at the San Francisco Exploratorium! Create 3-4 posters to help Exploratorium visitors learn about pet rabbits. Text content and some imagery will be provided. Must be designed in harmony with Rabbit Rescue non profit branding. Must be completed in time to get them printed and mounted before September. Could be a nice addition to your portfolio.
In addition, we would love to have some banners designed to highlight and direct visitors towards rabbits being housed for adoption at in San Francisco and Los Angeles area PetCo stores. An exciting chance to have your work on public display! We could also use ongoing help creating flyers for each of our adoptable rabbits as they are brought into our care in San Francisco. Average would be 2 flyers per month or less. Ability to print out the flyer in color and deliver it promptly to the San Francisco local stores would be very helpful, but other volunteers may be able to assist with that.

Mission Statement
To rescue homeless and neglected rabbits and find them loving homes.
Description
Rabbit Rescue, Inc. was established in 1995 in Downey, California. We are a non-profit/501c(3), no-kill shelter staffed and run entirely by volunteers. We rely on public donations and monies made by our on-line store rabbitshop.com to stay operational. 100% of ALL monies earned go directly to our bunnies, to pay for hay, pellets, fresh greens, housing, spay/neuter, medical treatment, drugs & medical supplies, toys and other environmental enrichments. Most of our rabbits come from local shelters where they're slated for euthanasia. All of our rabbits come from unfortunate circumstances ranging from simple neglect or abandonment to outright abuse. Many require both emotional and physical rehabilitation, and we keep our number of rabbits low to ensure each of them the optimum in medical care and individual attention. The end result is a happy, healthy bunny...litterbox trained, socialized, and ready to be a loved and loving member of your family. Rabbit Rescue, Inc. has rescued over 300 rabbits in the past 7 years. If you would like to assist us in our efforts to save rabbit lives, we welcome volunteers and/or tax-deductible donations.
