We are looking for positive role models who enjoy mentoring and supervising middle school and high school students. Volunteers will work closely with Program Coordinator to primarily help facilitate meetings, chaperone events/trip, and engage & empower participants. Training and support will be provided.

YMCA Leaders Club is a nation-wide community service based program that helps teens discover their full potential as leaders. It is a safe place where teens from all over can come and simply be themselves. The goal is to challenge teens to serve the community, to grow in who they are, and to be able to lead those around them.

Leaders Club provides teens in grades 6-12 with opportunities for leadership training, personal growth, social development, physical fitness, and service to others. By participating in Leaders, students can earn volunteer hours, become involved with the community, learn valuable life & professional skills, and build relationships, and learn what it truly means to be a leader.

The Leaders Club Advisor plays a key role in shaping the experience of each participating delegate. The advisor’s job is to act as a facilitator/supervisor - helping the student leaders to meet the goals and deadlines necessary to have a complete experience.
