We are a struggling non-profit rescue organization needing help to rescue and feed homeless cats in our neighborhood. We are committed to feeding over 100 cats each night and care for the 20 rescues living with us. Our neighborhood has an over-population of feral cats and the Community needs to be informed of the problems this creates for residents and the suffering of homeless animals.
We need volunteers with time to devote to posting photos, videos and stories of our rescues on Instagram, Twitter Facebook etc. and possibly help us create a website. If you enjoy doing this type of social media management please stop by and join our kitty crew. Any hours you would prefer to help could be accommodated! Pets for Vets NYC-Long Island, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rescues and professionally trains shelter dogs to provide companionship and emotional support for military Veterans with PTSD. We are 100% volunteer-run, and we are always looking for volunteers and fosters to help in Brooklyn/NYC and on Long Island, NY.
