We are picking blueberries now at this lovely organic blueberry farm in Carnation for use at our community harvest celebration, the SnoValley Tilth Farm Faire and Pig Roast on September 15th. The generous farm owners donate the berries and we volunteers pick them! Then the berries are used by home bakers to make the dessert, blueberry cobbler, for the faire. Come join us at this lovely farm- birds singing and sun shining while we pick!
We typically work in 2 hour increments. Please RSVP to one of these dates and times- if something different works for you feel free to ask: 7/10 9-11:30, 7/13 9-4, 7/18 9-11:30, 7/20 1-4. (After we arrive at a good time, I'll send the exact address. This prevents folks from accidentally showing up without me there to orient them.)
SnoValley Tilth's vision is of more farmers on more farmland, growing more sustainable food and fiber for our community. We operate the Carnation Farmers Market (including the Market Bucks SNAP program), offer agriculture-related education and farm-positive advocacy, and operate a farm incubator program.
