The Franklin Foundation for Innovation is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting America's public schools to ensure education equality for all children. We believe that education is a right that should be afforded to all children, regardless of the circumstances within which they were born.

We are looking for an experienced attorney interested in serving the organization in a pro-bono capacity as it's Chief Administration Officer. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to leverage their education and rare expertise to help an organization focused on improving and protecting our nation's public education infrastructure. While we would prefer individuals in the Greater Philadelphia Area, we will consider applicants from other areas who are licensed in the State of PA and are a member of the PA Bar Association.

We're looking for:

• 3+ years experience in either contract law, agreements, corporate structure, regulatory, privacy law or a combination of these disciplines.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to translate complex legal realities into digestible concepts for board members.
• Works for a firm that is supportive of pro-bono ventures, and could support paid engagements when necessary.
• Experience with partnership agreements and terms/conditions experience.
• A strong desire to make a difference for a growing organization.
• Ability to join regular board of director and governance meetings via skype or phone.

Time Commitment:

• We anticipate 3 hours per month of time commitment necessary to perform well in this function.
