Education Event Volunteers: Discover Your Wild Thing

For A Good Koss is 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to inspire children to be curious through kind, creative, and joyful education programs.

Our second children’s education event, Discover Your Wild Thing, will teach children about evolution through a fun, hands-on activity. To start, each child will be given a "blank canvas" of a creature. As the participants move from station to station in the game, they will be presented with changes in the environment that will force them to make choices on how to adapt their animal to survive. At the end, each child will be given a small prize for completing the game and creating their own animal.

Mission Bay Parks, along with a few other local organizations are co-sponsoring the event with us, and it will be bigger and better than ever! However, in order to execute the event successfully, we will need volunteers. We are looking for the following types of volunteers:

• Greeter
• Activity Station Lead (script will be provided)
• Activity Station Helper (script will be provided)
• Donation Station Lead (script will be provided)
• Book Reader (book will be provided)
• Photographer
• Guitarist
