Project HEAL is seeking a creative and passionate Graphic Artist to join our national marketing and communications team. Candidates must have a creative eye, experience with designing print and online graphics, and a passion for Project HEAL’s mission. The Graphic Artist will be expected to work as part of the national marketing and communications team to unify Project HEAL's voice across all social media platforms, as well as online and print marketing.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Graphic design projects including flyers, invitations, posters and event materials, pitch decks, annual reports, mailing letters, and graphics
- Review and evaluate existing website designs and look for ways to improve them
- Create new website elements
Qualifications:
- A passion for Project HEAL’s mission and strong working knowledge of graphic design
- Must be able to commit to 5-10 hours per week for at least 1-year
- Familiarity with at least one of the following graphic design programs/services: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Canva
- Experience with Squarespace
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work remotely
- Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external senior executives, HEAL PR and Marketing team members, HEAL Chapter team members and vendors
- Exceptional content creation skills
- Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
- 2-3 years of MarCom experience (preferred but not necessarily required)
- Knowledge of eating disorders (preferred but not necessarily required)

Project HEAL is a 501(c)3 non- profit organization that provides access to healing for all people with eating disorders.
Description
Since its founding in 2008, Project HEAL has provided over 100 applicants with access to live-saving treatment for their eating disorder, established over 30 Chapters and 25 Ambassadors bringing Project HEAL's mission and values to communities across the United States, and developed partnerships with more than 30 recognized eating disorder treatment providers across the US. The primary function of Chapters is to serve as robust local recovery communities that offer resources for those affected by eating disorders and opportunities to volunteer and make a difference in the lives of those affected by eating disorders.
We are an organization with a large volunteer base and have many volunteer opportunities available year-round. We are always looking for new people who have an interest in and passion for helping others suffering from eating disorders, poor body image, and low self-esteem.
