CCHC is celebrating National Health Center Week by hosting its 3rd Annual Back to School Health & Wellness Event on August 18th, 2018 at the Pacific Park & Community Center in Glendale, CA. At the event, CCHC will be providing 1000 FREE new backpacks fully stocked with school supplies to children entering Kindergarten to 12th grade to ensure they are well prepared for the upcoming school year. In addition, CCHC will be providing children of the community and their families with FREE health screenings, educational materials, fun games, activities, and much more.
To assist with this event, we are in need of volunteers. Volunteer duties include:
- greeting attendees
- distributing backpacks
- supervising activity booths
- managing registration lines
- distributing snacks
- helping with setup and breakdown
- and more as required
Please note volunteer hours are 8am- 3pm (various shifts are available). Lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Comprehensive Community Health Centers, Inc. (CCHC) is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation. CCHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). CCHC operates four primary care clinics providing medical, dental and some mental services to underserved people in metropolitan Los Angeles. CCHC clinics are located in Glendale, Eagle Rock, Highland Park , North Hollywood, and Sunland.
