Summit Academy changes lives. We help people in the Twin Cities get out of poverty and into meaningful living-wage careers. We're an accredited vocational school with 20 and 30 week training programs for careers in construction and healthcare. We offer no-cost programs, No student pays or takes out student loans to attend Summit Academy.
Summit Academy OIC is looking for volunteers who are interested in proctoring the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) test. This test make sure students are ready to study for the GED, and helps identify areas of academic strengths and weaknesses.
Volunteers will stay in the testing area for the duration of the entire test. We offer the TABE test every Tuesday and Thursday from 12-4 pm. Proctoring will maintain a secure and positive testing environment. Volunteers are welcome to bring any work or books to read while students are testing.

Summit Academy OIC is a non-profit vocational training and educational center in North Minneapolis with over 50 years' experience helping Twin Cities' adults and youth in economically depressed neighborhoods acquire the tools they need to become educated, employed and self-supporting.
