Help us with weeding, mulching, and other farm tasks! Please dress for the weather and bring sturdy shoes and water bottle. Snacks, water, gloves and tools are provided. No farming/gardening experience is required, and there's no need to register. Just show up at 9AM and we will train you on tasks before work begins.
Good Hope Farm is a 29 acre urban farm partnership project with the Town of Cary and four nonprofits. We seek to create a financially sustainable model of leasing farmland to new farmers, connect new farmers with local market opportunities, serve as a demonstration site for environmentally responsible farming practices, and provide educational opportunities for the community regarding agriculture and nutrition.
