ORGANIZATION: CONWAY CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

  • 3 people are interested

We are relocating our non-profit to Spartanburg County and are looking to recruit and assemble a small, dynamic and nimble group of volunteers and board members that are willing to learn about the practices of placemaking.

This group will serve as community leaders in Spartanburg County and we will work on two projects; the first project is a public park in the Hillbrook area of east Spartanburg and the second project is in collaboration with a small town in Spartanburg County.

Preliminarily, we need grant writers and board leadership with experience in the areas of the law, management, finance, planning, strategy, public relations and volunteer coordination.

For an introduction to the practices of placemaking, please visit this website: https://www.pps.org/article/what-is-placemaking
