Leeward is pleased to partner with area agencies that support empowerment of adults with disabilities.
The Leeward Charitable Foundation recently created a work training program and has begun partnering with local agencies that support work-oriented empowerment. We have training opportunities available at our Distribution Center and our Salisbury Store for clients of these agencies.
We are currently looking for an individual(s) who would like to volunteer to become a 'Team Leader' at our Distribution Center in Newburyport. The Special Needs Team Leader would be specifically placed in charge of these groups.
Primary duties would include:
- Greeting the groups upon arrival
- Assigning the groups tasks
- Watching over and assisting them during their time with us
