Mission Statement

The St. Augustine Humane Society promotes healthy, responsible, lifelong pet ownership by serving the medical and rehabilitative needs of companion animals in our community. Description

The St. Augustine Humane Society is committed to providing resources that strengthen lifelong human/animal bonds in our community. We strive to eliminate the need for families to relinquish their pets to shelters, enabling pets to live happily and healthfully in their homes.

We address issues pet owners face when struggling to maintain the health of their household pets, including the inability to afford pet food, veterinarian fees, overpopulation due to unsterilized animals, behavioral problems, and a lack of education regarding the complexities of pet ownership.

Our goal is to eliminate the need for families to relinquish their pets to shelters, enabling pets to live happy, healthy lives in their loving homes.
