ORGANIZATION: Greenheart Exchange

Greenheart Exchange, a non-profit student exchange organization, is seeking a host family in the St. Cloud, FL area to host a Japanese exchange student for 2 weeks starting July 28th, 2018. The students are between the ages of 12 and 16, and are on our Group Homestay Program. They will participate in welcome and farewell parties, weekly group excursions, and a community service activity, although their primary goal is to spend time with an American family.

The following students still need host families. Take a look at them below!

  • Anna (12) is passionate about art, and she enjoys drawing, reading manga, and learning English. She is a part of the broadcast club and the art club at school.
  • Daiki (14) loves to read comics and study science at school. He is a part of the table tennis club at school, and practices piano every day.
  • Hiroto (13) He loves playing soccer (he is part of the soccer club at school), dancing, and is passionate about fashion. So far he has been to Hawaii and Seattle. Hiroto can’t wait to meet his host family and learn more about American culture!
  • Mio’s (12) hobbies include dancing, watching movies, watching the TV show Glee, and reading books. She’s also an animal lover, and loves her French Bulldog, Arthur.

Hosting can help you make an international friend and explore your own community through new eyes.

Hosts provide a bed (student may share a room with similarly aged host sibling), meals, and a warm and safe environment. Our students come with spending money and insurance. A local American coordinator provides ongoing support to the student and host family. A few short weeks can lead to lifetime friendships!
