The Alzheimer's Association trains Community Educators to deliver educational programs on topics specific to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. These programs have been developed by the Alzheimer's Association using scripted curricula, PowerPoint presentations and other printed training materials. All topics are designed to inform the public and to support individuals and families affected by the disease.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. The Iowa Chapter provides vital services, education, and support to people living with Alzheimer's, family members affected and caregivers affected by Alzheimer's. We serve those affected by providing these services in 75 Iowa and 5 Illinois counties. Offices are located in: Burlington, Dubuque, Fort Dodge, Quad Cities, Sioux City and West Des Moines (chapter headquarters). Our 24/7 Helpline is available by calling us at 1.800.272.3900.
