Mission Statement

Workshops for the People (W4tP) believes that education is a RIGHT -- not a privilege -- and with that sentiment in mind we create educational opportunities for the community in the pursuit of providing mental health education, support, and networking for a better connected community.

Description

Workshops for the People was conceptualized by a collaborative team of psychologists, community mental health providers, and professionals with the primary purpose of providing FREE and LOW-COST workshops throughout the community. Our team is passionate about providing access to psychological services to those who would not otherwise be able to access and afford them! We also have a wealth of experience to share with young professionals in the mental health field. W4tP offers a variety of
mentoring opportunities for graduate students: M.A., M.F.T.,Ph.D, and Psy.D in the mental health professions.

Workshops for the People has assembled a multidisciplinary team willing to donate their time in order to: 1) Help spread awareness of important mental health and community topics, 2) Provide a forum for community members to connect with one another, 3) Present educational opportunities to the community at free to no cost, and 4) Offer professional development and mentoring opportunities to young professionals
