Each volunteer will bring a unique set of gifts and talents that are needed to make our hospice program the best that it can be. Some of you will work in the office or in public relates, while others may share musical or art
talents, special skills, others may visit and share personally with the patients and their families.
Whatever role you choose, your involvement will enrich and bless the lives of many people.
We will provide the training, and provide you with a certificate in Hospice volunteer program.

To provide an individualized program of high quality interdisciplinary care for our patients and their families in their end-of-life journey.
Description
Hospice is about supporting people in their final life journey. Death is the closure to that journey. Mnay of our hospice patients will be elderly persons. Our culture is hard on the elderly. Our goal is to have a relationship with the community. Again, the understanding is that we're not alone during a time of grief, sickness, or a time of sadness.
Death disrupts families, friends, and during these life cycles we must learn how to cope with our losses by acquiring tools and skills to help us deal with each emotion that we are being challenged during this time.
