Most of us are concerned about the children separated from their parents at the border, but what about the children in our hometowns that are separated from their parents - some only because they can't afford diapers, a car seat, or clothing. We can change that! Let's keep unnecessary children out of the system so that case managers can focus on child that need real help.
This month, AHEART (All Hearts Educating, Advocating, Restoring and Transforming) is asking community partners and volunteers to host an infant diaper bag drive and drop it off at our Mega Shower on July 28, 2018 between 1pm and 3pm.
Collect diapers bags, fill them with infant items like clothing, bottles, bottle cleaners, wipes, lotion, shampoo, nail kits, and more. Get your friends and family and maybe even your neighborhood to help you. Together, we can save the children who are in arms reach.

About AHEART
Location:
207 Atlantic Ave, Apt H-1, Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215, US
Mission Statement
Our mission at AHEART is to provide emergency assistance to infants in crisis, prevent out of home placement, decrease infant mortality by providing essential infant items, and partnering with community members and organizations to advocate for the lives of infants and their families.
Description
AHEART is open to families with infants and children under age 2 that are in serious need. Participants must bring in their child and a referral to receive assistance. We provide educational classes on a variety of topics because our aim is to build our participants up and not just be a family service agency that gives "hand outs".
AHEART’s main focus is to mentor and support teen mothers. Often these young girls find themselves homeless and in desperate need of daily support. Many times infants fall subject to government welfare programs due to long waiting lists, waiting periods between birth and assistance, and the lack of basic baby supplies.
