About Homefront Hugs Foundation, Inc

Location:

101 Fieldcrest Street / Ste 103, National Headquarters, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, US

Mission Statement

At Homefront Hugs Foundation, we leave politics at the door and support our troops, veterans and families without conditions- letting no hero feel forgotten . We inspire stewardship in children, the disabled, the elderly and anyone who wants to make a difference in this world today... including disaster relief and tackling our suicide crisis especially during this pandemic . We provide PPE and essential support and crisis intervention to isolated veterans in communities at large. Make a real difference with us where we unite instead of finding differences to divide us. Our site is dedicated to our WWII veterans and some special heroes who have served our country. Help make our world a gentler place . Our motto- Freedom Endures.

Description

At Homefront Hugs, our missions include helping our wounded & seriously ill vets, adopting troops and military families , kids and teens to give back, advocacy with crisis intervention addressing military suicides, disaster relief.
We need volunteers to write cards and send needs to our wounded & sick veterans in hospitals,to help our homeless/isolated veterans and their brave families . With our military suicide crisis, our goal is to reduce these tragedies through prevention, intervention and advocacy for better mental health care & funding our Healing Canines Initiative.
During this pandemic, the isolation and needs are greater than ever.
Teenagers and college students are encouraged to start their own Homefront Hugs clubs nationwide . Seniors and our special needs population are always invited to help here. We value every volunteer, every veteran from all walks of life. No one earns a penny at Homefront Hugs .
Monetary donations are always needed to mail care packages to wounded and deployed men and women in uniform, for stewardship programs, disaster relief missions and suicide prevention.
Giving back to our country and our communities in thanks for our freedoms is what Homefront Hugs is about and many teenagers join us choosing their own project even registering citizens to vote, helping cheer up kids in the hospital, helping the Humane Society, or visiting isolated veterans - so no hero is forgotten. Our volunteers are the reason we shine . We hope you join us too.
