The Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper position is accountable for recording day-to-day accounting operations, monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected. Monthly reporting to the FSC-PS CF Board of Directors Treasurer.

Performs administrative and office support activities for the FSC-PS Executive Director.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Match pledge forms with donors and produce customer invoices
  • Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
  • Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
  • Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with ADP payroll processing operating and business taxes

Administrative Tasks may include:

  • Fielding emails
  • Database Updating
  • Word processing
  • Accounting for transactions using online QuickBooks
  • Creating spreadsheets and presentations
  • Filing hard copy correspondence and iCloud filing
  • Faxing, Scanning, and Printing.

Description

The objectives of this Corporation shall be, to engage in any lawful act or activity such as any corporation organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Specifically, the objectives of this Corporation shall be:

  • To promote economic development and provide technical, educational, and advisory assistance to economically disadvantaged communities.
  • To provide scholarships to college-bound students from economically disadvantaged communities who have expressed an interest in the financial services industry.
  • To help educate and inform youth about the employment opportunities available in the financial services industry.
