On Thursday, August 9, Greater Twin Cities United Way is teaming up with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx at Target Center to host Action Day 2018, an all-ages, family-friendly volunteer event to help Twin Cities kids go back to class set up for success!
At the event, volunteer will help fill 25,000 backpacks with school supplies during an unforgettable day with all seven of Minnesota’s pro sports teams. Our goal is to bring together 4,000 volunteers, doubling our impact over last year.
Volunteers are also needed to help with setup of the event. Shift times are:
Wednesday, August 8, 9 - 11 am
Wednesday, August 8, 12:30 - 3 pm
Wednesday, August 8, 3:30 - 6 pm
Thursday, August 9, 9 am - 12 pm
