On Thursday, August 9, Greater Twin Cities United Way is teaming up with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx at Target Center to host Action Day 2018, an all-ages, family-friendly volunteer event to help Twin Cities kids go back to class set up for success!

Register now to volunteer to have an immediate impact as you help fill 25,000 backpacks with school supplies during an unforgettable day with all seven of Minnesota’s pro sports teams. Our goal is to bring together 4,000 volunteers, doubling our impact over last year.

In addition to volunteering, Action Day will be action-packed, featuring a Prize Playbook, games, prizes, photo booths and a mini-Crayola Experience.

To minimize the volunteer lines, please sign up for one of two timeframes:

• 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. - 1st Half
• 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. - 2nd Half

You’re welcome to enjoy all the activities Action Day has to offer for as long as you’d like, however, we ask you complete the volunteer project (which takes approximately 45 minutes) during the timeframe for which you sign up.

All backpack assembly volunteers must be ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 8 can still complete a special volunteer project at the Crayola Experience.
