Coming up on September 14th Glendale Arts is presenting the Open Arts and Music Festival. The Open Arts & Music Festival is a FREE and family-friendly festival with live music performances curated by Spaceland Presents. An arts market with workshops, Golden Road beer garden, temporary public art installations, activities for children, and more! The Open Arts & Music Festival takes up the entire city block in front of the historic Alex Theatre in Downtown Glendale, with an anticipated attendance of 10,000 people.
We are looking for volunteers to cover any of the following shifts (specific tasks subject to change):
Open Arts & Music Festival Volunteer Application
6:00 am - 10:00 am
- Setting up the Arts Market, Beer Garden, and Alex Theatre area
- Assembling pop up tents and tables for the Artist Vendors
- Assembling pop up tents, tables, and any other needs for the Beer Garden
- Arts Market set up - table and chair set up, numbering tents
- Assisting Arts Vendors
- Handing out flyers, postcards, and any other marketing materials to local businesses and throughout the surrounding community.
- Other duties as assigned
- Audience and/or vendor support during event.
- Audience and/or vendor support during event.
- Event break down:
- Dismantling pop up tents and tables
- Dismantling Beer Garden and Volunteer HQ
- Assisting Arts Vendors with load out

Since 1925, the Alex Theatre has been a Los Angeles area landmark and continues to serve as a top entertainment destination for the entire Los Angeles basin.
