July 18 Volunteer Workday

KNCB is seeking volunteers to assist with our summer workdays in the Park Circle Butterfly Garden. Some of the things we may do is planting, weeding, installing weed barriers, and watering plants. This volunteer day will be Wednesday, July 18 from 8am-12:00pm or until we finish for the day. You are welcome to attend for the full volunteer workday, or for an hour or two as your schedule permits. Please email us and let us know the dates and times you are interested in volunteering and we will put you on the schedule.

If you are unable to attend a workday you have signed up for, please let us know a few days in advance. We will let you know prior to the workday if any scheduling conflicts come up. Due to the nature of the volunteer work, workdays will not be held on days with rain or inclement weather.

On volunteer days, please be sure to dress comfortably for working outside. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring any needed items with you such as a hat, sunscreen, or bug spray. We have bottled water in our office along with a water cooler for your refillable bottles.
