The Salvation Army is seeking volunteers to assist with our Back to School Carnival and School Supply Distribution at our Brooklyn Park location.

We are looking for 13-15 volunteers to help specifically with the school supply distribution from 9 am to 1:00 pm and 10 additional volunteers to help with the Carnival from 10 am until 3:00 pm (helping serve food, assisting with game play and handing out prizes, face painting, etc.) on Saturday, August 18.

The carnival is a fun way to get families in the community to check out The Salvation Army programs and also provide children with backpacks and school supplies before heading back in September. In addition, we need a few volunteers (about 8 people) to help with the sorting/inventory of the supplies and setting up the event the day before on Friday, August 17 from noon to 4:00 pm.
