Being a Friendly Visitor is a great way to brighten someone's day. This is an ongoing volunteer position. Visiting being the key word - volunteer simply visits with the client engaging in conversation, maybe a card or board game, taking a stroll outside and/or watching some TV.

Requirements are that you enjoy being with and genuinely care about people.
Willing to visit once maybe 2 times a week for an hour each visit (more if agreed upon).
Able to drive (or access to dependable transportation), to geographical preference of your choice.
Dependable and good communication skills are necessary.
Complete 4 hours of training or provide proof of prior training.
