Volunteer Course Marshals Needed! Cruise in Shoes 5K Run

ORGANIZATION: The Parade Company

Huntington is proud to present the eighth annual Cruise In Shoes(tm) 5K Run/Walk. The run/walk will take place the morning of August 20, 2022, the same day as the annual Woodward Dream Cruise presented by Ford.

The run/walk will begin at 7:30 am on Yorba Linda Blvd, continue with a rare opportunity to run on historic Woodward Avenue, wind through several Royal Oak neighborhood streets and finish at Shrine High School.

Volunteers are needed to help as course marshals and directional help. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers who are 16 & 17 must be accompanied by a parent.

Course Marshal Duties: Course Marshalls are positioned throughout the course usually at intersections and are responsible for directing runners at turns. They also serve as cheerleaders!
