The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides a "home-away-from-home" for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. RMH facilities are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter to a family than healing their child - not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest.
The LLF Adopt-A-Meal Program ensures that families staying at the Ronald McDonald House have nutritious meals catered to them while their child undergoes treatment at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Volunteers are tasked with setting up, distributing, and cleaning up during the meal, while entertaining those children and adults that wish to interact. Arrangements are made with local restaurants for delivery of the evening's meal, and volunteers receive and setup the dinner for the RMH residents.

Mission Statement
The Little Lighthouse Foundation assists children and their families in South Florida who face educational, financial, and medical hardships. This support is derived from recruiting and educating passionate, caring, socially conscious South Floridians, and then deploying them to beneficiary charities. In addition, the Little Lighthouse Foundation raises monies to provide direct support both directly to children and their families and to address specific needs of local charities benefitting children. Through a new paradigm of fundraising and awareness, the Little Lighthouse Foundation financially supports numerous partner organizations throughout South Florida and dispatches hundreds of volunteers who donate their time and hearts.

Founded in 2010, The Little Lighthouse Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rallies volunteers and conducts high profile events to benefit children and their families throughout South Florida. Focusing on supporting families who face medical, educational, emotional and financial challenges, the Little Lighthouse Foundation?s network of active young professionals contribute both time and financial contributions to the greater good of the foundation's beneficiaries.
