Description

The Dundalk Renaissance Corporation is a non-profit community-based membership organization and community development corporation dedicated to revitalizing the greater Dundalk area.

Housing.We work to boost renovation standards and home values through incentive grants for current homeowners and high-quality, historic, green renovations to attract new buyers. Creating opportunities for people at many income levels, we seek to greatly expand Dundalk’s market appeal.

Main Street.Dundalk’s historic shopping area and town center embody our overall community’s small-town feel. We work with businesses and residents to support our stores and attract new ones through promotional events, marketing, business development, and façade improvement grants.

Greening. Reviving the Greening of Dundalk tree-planting initiative that began 20 years ago, we organize volunteers to reduce pollution, increase environmental consciousness, enhance our parks, and make Dundalk more beautiful and sustainable.

Planning.DRC originated from a community planning process and we continue to seek implementation of larger-scale revitalization proposals and to promote inclusive, sound planning.

Citizen Involvement. We encourage resident and business involvement in all aspects of our work. Volunteer opportunities include assisting with various events and improvement projects, and serving on committees, as well as providing input on our overall direction.
