We are looking for university students and interns (Jrs/Srs/recent grads) majoring in Psychology, Sociology, or Human Development to help with the Child Abuse Treatment program. Bilingual English-Spanish very helpful.
Volunteers need to be able to handle sensitive situations, work collaboratively with the CHAT team, follow protocols, be able to listen, be empathetic with issues related to abuse and provide families with resources to stabilize their needs. Activities are during business hours Mon - Fri.
Volunteers must be fingerprinted, have a clean Livescan and current TB Test. Training opportunities are available to enhance your skills. This is a great learning experience. Sign up for more information here or contact Kathy Knox at firstname.lastname@example.org or 951-275-5055, Ext 1255.
We'll work with your schedule.
