Rain Garden Install
ORGANIZATION: Winona County
Please visit the new page to apply.
As part of a community engagement grant, residents of Winona County are able to apply for cost-share assistance grants to install a rain garden on their property. Rain gardens help to infiltrate stormwater in order to filter out pollutants and replenish groundwater.
A homeowner in St. Charles has been awarded one of our grants and needs YOUR help to install their rain garden! We'll be digging out the garden's base, planting over 30 native wildflower plants, and laying down mulch to top it off. Join us on July 21st from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM - we'll have breakfast and refreshments!
Email Lauren for the exact address and to confirm your registration: ljensen@co.winona.mn.us or call at 507-457-6574
