ORGANIZATION: Autism Speaks Ohio Chapter

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 3 people are interested

Autism Speaks is working to build the community’s awareness of the Cleveland Autism Speaks Walk and Autism Speaks by blanketing the city in preparation for our event on September 30th at the Great Lakes Science Center.

The dates for this distribution are Thursday, August 2, & Saturday, August 4th from 11am-3pm. Times can be flexible for any large groups that would like to volunteer.

We are looking for volunteers to help us in different territories across Northeast Ohio, to distribute flyers and brochures to locations families living with autism might visit. Location examples: pediatricians and pediatric dentists, houses of worship, retail chains with community bulletin boards (e.g. Starbuck’s, Panera), car dealerships service waiting rooms, children’s and family hair salons, children’s gyms and activity areas, and tutoring centers (e.g. Mathnasium, Huntington, Sylvan)

Areas will be determined by volunteer's location in Northeast Ohio. Once signed up, designated areas will be discussed and territories will be determined. Each area will have a kick-off meeting location to give everyone their supplies and areas to cover.

Any questions, please contact Leslie Bloom @ 216-704-8697
