A Child’s Dream-CA is an extension of Living Waters-West L.A., " says Founder/CEO, Cassandra Steptoe-Sampson, "we must continue to realize the needs of our underserved communities and maintain compassion for our children." A Child's Dream-CA continues to harvest relationships and transparency in order to gain trust and support from our sponsors which help enable our efforts
Volunteers needed to help with the set-up and distribution of backpacks, school supplies, socks, personal and feminine hygiene products, escort families through the event and more to approximately 800 school-age children and their families. This is a one-day event. For 18 years, the impact we have had on the community and beyond has been overwhelming. It takes a village to raise a child; come out and join ours.
